~ Gain an Advanced Certificate in Tropical Marine and Coastal Management and/or an Advanced Certificate in Tropical Marine and Coastal Monitoring Methods depending on your choice of course.

~ Acquire transferable skills and knowledge that can be applied globally and unrivalled first-hand experience in the theoretical and practical aspects of ecosystem management.

~ Attend lectures from local and international academics and professionals to understand the practical aspects and complexities of ecosystem management.

~ Receive training in a multi-disciplinary approach to natural resource management; learn not only important ecological monitoring methods, also but essential socio-economic monitoring techniques.

~ Help ensure that local students have access to an education and training that is otherwise unavailable. International student fees go directly back into the Coastal Academy to help support the participation of local students.
